Julie good luck friday with your Dr !!
By way I have cushings sydrome and yet no adrenal function but only a very
few your symptoms fit - have you had a "Synthacen test" at all (shows how
your adrenak function etc is) !!
AFAIK the only tests that have been done are assorted blood tests (not sure
any would apply here), the 24 hour urine collection and an MRI.
As far as Drs. go, I don't think I have much of a choice. There aren't many
If you ar happy with your Dr stay with them "Trust" with your medical is
needed when you have longterm conditions to control !!
Endos. around here and he takes my insurance. Most Drs. do not. Steven's
Hospital has given him glowing recommendations and I think they're a good
hospital.
I know your situation and travelling !!
I am in the UK and have a referral in to a brittle asthma specialist
centre in the next county but cant get to it because of transport issues -
and I loathed the pressure I got of people on an asthma forums to get
there - the stress of trying to sort it out made it not worth going for me
!!
Yes. Stuff like that can be very stressful. One can't fully understand the
problem unless they are in the same situation.
The referral is still open tome but barring a miracle I wont be getting
there but dont let any pressure to go to different areas you know you cant
get too get you down it isnt worth it hun !!
True.
