I tested myself and my BS level was at 97. Now, I did
not have anything to eat for at least 4 hours before I went to bed, so

These numbers are so close that they are virtually the same.
You can get that kind of variation in test done just minutes apart.

If they consistently show that, then it's a good bet it's real. You are
correct that they are within the +-15% meter variance which is standard
now.
