HI...a newcomer here, but I was diagnosed about last October with
type2. I have a question for you people. While my Blood sugar
levels have been mainly under control, but not as good as I would want
it lately...something happened that I don't know how to explain. I
take metformin 500mg 2 times a day, usually at 6AM (when I get up and
before I go to work) and 6 PM. Before I went to bed last night
(around 11 PM), I tested myself and my BS level was at 97. Now, I did
not have anything to eat for at least 4 hours before I went to bed, so
when I woke up in the morning and tested myself, I was surprised to
see my BS level to be 108. What would cause my blood sugar level to
go up during the night when I didn't have anything to eat to make it
go up?
Thank You for any information you can give me.
97 and 108 is basically the same reading. Meter variance.
If it was 97 and 148 there would be cause for concern.
