YES. Almost every woman with Cushing's seems to have been misdiagnosed
with PCOS at some point.

Susan: I liked your post about misdiagnosis. I'd like to see the term
"obesity linked diabetes" referred as OLD and "non-obesity linked
diabetes" referred as NOLD. I am hearing "obesity linked diabetes"
more and more these days and implies the fact that there are many
subtypes of T2 diabetes. My spin is the unfortunate fact that Docs
mostly think OLD and sometimes use the wrong drugs per cooky cutter
approach. I recent medical decisions about my care sometimes based on
OLD inappropriate approaches. Just an idea for us to consider. :-)
