I was diagnosed last December with T2. I am on Met. & Actos. I just
got my latest labs and my A1C is 5.3. My problem and I am wondering
if anyone else has this, is extreme flushing/Hot flashes throughou the
day and during the night. The hot flashes during the day normally
occur about an hour after I eat. But when i test during one of these
episodes, my bg level is fine. Does anyone else have this problem?
If so, any solutions?
Thanks Jan
Jan, may I ask how old you are? Any chance you might be edging into
perimenopause? If so, the solution is fans and patience. ;-)

No, I have been post menopausal for 3 years now with no hot flashes.
Did not start having the hot flashes until i was diag. and started
taking meds.
