Hi Guys,
I am new member of this group and my Name is Gyanesh. I am from India,
living in a small City called Dehradun, capitol of State Uttaranchal.
I am having diabetics type 1 for the last 30 years, and have been
taking extenal insuline for almost 29 years, 2 times a day.
These days my sugar level comes down very low, as low as 20 and this
is very dangerous for me. I have taken all sorts of consultations,
changed my dose and eating habits, but still the eratic behaviour is
not in control.
I would like your thoughts/suggestion if any on this. If any one has
gone through this, please share the experience with me so that things
can be controled.
My the way i am 60 years old and will be retiring from work this Sept.

Gyanesh
Always keep some wrapped hard candy in your pocket depending on your
bodyweight 6 to 10 pieces, and it is you're activity level that is
adversly affecting your BS, as we get older we burn more energy to do the
same work. After you retire it will be easier to regulate your BS.- Hide quoted text -

Bob,
this is a good point you have told me "as we get older we burn more
energy to do the same work". I never thought in this direction and no
one, other than you have told me this earlier. Thanks bob. I generally
take 1800 calories a day as per current directions for doctors. I will
talk to them and may be they can increase my calore intake.
thanks
