Benefits of Green Tea
(CNN) -- Studies suggest that tea -- especially green tea -- provides
healthy benefits.
Green tea leaves are the least processed and have lower levels of
caffeine than other types of tea. The leaves contain high-level
antioxidants thought to fight different types of cancer and also
protect the heart by relaxing blood vessels, which prevents blood
clots.
Other studies suggest tea increases bone density, therefore reducing
the risk of fractures from osteoporosis.
