for me a serving of banana is about 6 inches. sometimes I just take a bite
here and there. I stay away from the over ripe ones and tend to look more
for a banana that still has some green on it.

Bananas are delicious, but high in very fast acting sugar. the portion
size for a small to medium banana in the diabetic exchange system is 1/2,
while a small apple or 15 cherries or a small orange or medium peach or
2-3 apricots, etc are all portions. As my breakfast incules about 1/3-1/4
portions of a few fruits, I would not find much point in in two slices
of banana.
