I have to agree that I do not want to alienate these people. I'm putting
my daughter's life in their hands, and the last thing I need is resentment
towards me and her.
Whilst not exactly on the same intensity level, I do think Ted's advice on
pushing may be the right thing to do. If you have to alienate the principal
but keep a good relationship with her teachers, your daughter should be
fine... I had to do something similar with a bully of a principal when my
eldest was little.
