Just a comment here. Many years ago I couldn't stand cottage cheese adn
thought yogurt was for the birds (or something else non-human. ) Over
time I find my tstes have changed and as I stay on a diabetic diet I have
come to enjoy foods I once either disliked or , at least, didn't much care
for (like rye crisp or Wasa, etc. I find that the combo I use for
breakfast, which uses small amounts of the fruits(of course we all vary on
which we can eat, so supply your own list) and the yogurt all mixed up
tastes like a creamy almost ice creamy dish that I have come to love. It
grew from a quarter of a canteloup with a scoop of cottage cheese on it
through the same with a strawberry sliced on top of the cheese to what I
eat now.
Don't be surpised to find that your tastes change over time. I also
suggest that you look fo rthe Wasa or the Ryevita, as they are larger than
rye krisp and , to me, have a better taste. I find them in man stores,
but they are not as ubicquitous(sp?) as the rye krisp, which, I think , is
an American imitation of the original Scandinavian crisp breads.
