I did prior.

Well, do it again.

Hi Sechumlib

To save RK the effort of responding to someone too bloody
lazy to read further back in the thread:

" Mike packed my insulin in the cooler when we were moving
from CA to OH. He didn't realize that it couldn't touch the
ice directly. After 1.5hr we stopped for gas and I went to
grab a soda and found my 4 vials of insulin IN THE ICE!
thankfully I had a brand new one in my pump "purse" that I
put in 5 days worth of supplies in case something happened,
that way I didn't have to worry about various pump supplies
in different places it was all right there including 1 new
vial.
thankfully I had a prescription as well and we found a
walmart off the freeway and I stopped and got it filled and
tossed the other because YES! 2 of the 4 vials were frozen."

I was interested, but surprised when I found that you'd
reappeared here. Excellent, some fresh views. But you didn't
like the rude people here as I remember it, that's why I was
surprised you came back. Do you remember writing this on
rec.travel.usa-canada?

"
If you subscribe to no other groups (actually, we
both know of one:-), may I suggest alt.twit or alt.silliness?

The group you are referring to is obviously the
diabetes-related one. I don't subscribe any more. I have
NEVER seen a bunch of "people" more offensive, less informed
and more rude. If you think I'm that way (and you obviously
do), just read a few of the other cockamamie postings in
that group and you might be better educated about the
weirdos there.

I originally subscribed in the hope that I might learn
something.
Forget it! After nearly 68 years of Type I, still being in
excellent health, I could give THEM a lot more information
than I ever got from them; but they wouldn't accept it
without flaming me, so why bother? "

Why bother indeed. I presume you wouldn't include yourself
in the "rude" group? No, actually, you already answered that
as well after some more invective:
"I know precisely what you'll say now: that I'm no better,
and maybe worse. I disagree."

Why am I not surprised at that statement?

Cheers, Alan, T2, Australia.
