Throw in a dozen eggs over easy and I'll join you for a healthy

Define "healthy". To me, "healthy" is defined as a portion
of food which doesn't spike my BGs over 7(126) at any time
after I eat it. The definition was less strict, at 8(144),
when I was a newby.
Thats great news Alan.. based on your definition of healthy food I am
about to
have 5lbs of sausage and a slice of bread and lots of butter.
i am starting to like this advice.
how i wish it could not be proven the cigerettes kill.
i am sure you would be saying they are healthy.
on subjects that can not be proven - you are a genius in your own
mind.
you have a very simple way of looking at things - it does not suprise
me
that you think you know so much while knowing so little.
lol you define healthy as food that does not spike you.
Thats pretty Anal Alan
breakfast.
With lots of ham, bacon, and of course a big supersize block of cheddar
cheeeeeeeeese!!!
Best,
Kurt
You lot sound like the Cornish miners in the "lookshoory"
skit. Each exaggeration exceeding the previous.
Nice breakfast ingredients. Of course, moderation in portion
size still applies so this morning I had two eggs over easy
and one rasher of bacon - about the same as three of your
strips, well drained. FBG 5.5(100), 1hr PP 5.8(105).
Yesterday was a single egg omelette filled with some sauteed
capsicum (peppers) strips, onion, broccoli and cheese.
I ate that for breakfast, or a variant, while travelling for
three months and lost 4kg(9lbs). I'll be confirming that
lipids are fine next week although I expect the LDL to be up
a little after quitting lipitor before the trip.
One tends to assume that most people don't need to be told
that common sense applies. Of course, common sense is an
uncommon trait. Bonita is an intelligent adult and knew what
was meant.
If you must play kindergarten games then I'll spell it out
for you at kindergarten level next time Kurt.
Now, where to start. Hmm. See Spot run? No, too complex;
maybe, "A" is for Apple...no, too carby:-)

Everything in Moderation - Except Laughter.
If I am eating low carb, I will cook up about half a pound of bacon, 6-8
strips, then cook 3 eggs over easy in the bacon grease. Add a biscuit and
large mug of coffee and I'm ready for the day. One half pound of sausage can
be substituted for the bacon on occasion.
If I'm using Novolog before breakfast, I might make that 3 buscuits with
some sausage gravy on top of the buscuits, eggs and sausage.
