Vacation is over

I'm back from Hawaii, I had a wonderful time, most of the time. I was unable
to do a lot of the things I love to do, like playing inn the surf with my
cousins all day long. I am still a little weak from my former ordeal.

I managed to get my diabetes under better control. My Aunt watched me like a
hawk, so I didn't have to worry about my diet. She did not even prepare any
meals that contained gluten, much to the dislike of the other family
members. This made me feel bad that I was causing them to conform to my diet
restrictions. It was not all bad though, one of my cousins said she feels a
lot better on a low/no gluten diet. I told her should get checked for Celiac
disease.

I will be going to school this fall. Everyone, doctor included, thinks I
have improved enough to at least try it. If I have sever problems like
before, it will be back to home schooling. I do not think I will be able to
participate in any sports.
