Different people have different symptoms but you seem to have gone
through almost all of the early hypo symptoms there :-). Yeah, I've
been hit by immobility-confusion-don't-know-what-to-do too but not
until lower bg's.

At least I was in contact with someone at the time who knew what to do.
I've had them so bad that I go into the kitchen then notice something wrong
like dirty dishes and started working. I'll then find myself weeping and
not knowing why I went in there to begin with. Only when I happen onto the
candy in looking for something else will I figure out that I need to eat.

Those were actually not too bad of a way to treat hypo, but you
SERIOUSLY might want to consider getting some glucose tablets for a
calibrated way to recover. And besides, your daughter might miss her
Swedish Fish the next day!

I've looked at the glucose tabs. They're rather expensive and most likely
they won't taste good. I'd be likely to spit them out if they didn't taste
good, hypo or no hypo! And my daughter will never miss the candy. She
doesn't eat candy. She collects it. I have to go through there every once
in a while and throw it all out because it goes stale. I used to keep a
supply of candy for myself, but since the problem with frequent hypos had
stopped, I let my supply dwindle.

Again, think about glucose tablets.

Yeah. Wouldn't be my first choice. I just kind of look at it like...since
I don't normally get to eat sweets I may as well be getting *something* out
of the hypo. Hehe.

Sometimes without any apparent reason bg's go up/insulin needs go up
for a few days or a week and then they go down again.

True.
