When we were in the Military I couldn't afford to get my teeth checked often
(the military did not work on Dependants teeth...)...until we went to
Alaska..they do dependants teeth. I am ashamed to say it has been many years
since I have been to the dentist. When I was a young teen, the dentist told
my Mom I was allergic to novocain, because I would get cold sores after
going to the dentist ,we now know it was not , an allergy...but it was
enough to scare me off of dentists ..after having dental work done without
Novocain...I cannot wait longer than 10 minutes without getting the trots or
want to throw up. I am now looking for a dentist....I know I have extensive
work to be done.

Since we had an eye exam reminder last week, here's a dental exam
reminder.
Just had a bi-yearly exam yesterday. This is a new dentist and I was
incredibly impressed that the first thing she said when I told her I
was diabetic, "What's your A1c?" I think I'll be with her for quite
some time.
Best,
Kurt
