Texas summer isn't pretty, as Guy can attest.
This is my first summer using insulin and I need suggestions for a
cooler that'll stand up to 150+ temps for short periods, as that's how
hot my truck's interior can get if I have to park in the sun.
What color is your truck? Seriously - you'd be amazed how much cooler
white is - I spent 30 years in the desert southwest - AZ and NM.
My only other constraint is size: It needs to hold three vials and as
many as 9 syringes without weighing down my already overloaded
"everything bag" in which I store my knitting, my wallet, my (small)
DayTimer, my PDA, my phone, my test kit and any kid junk or husband
junk that happens to be surreptiously dumped into it for "storage".
Suggestions?
You might try one of the small soft side coolers with a couple of 'freezer
packs' - probably wrap the packs in a towel.
