Of course some of them have redefined triage.
It originally meant making a quick check of
each patient to determine whether they need (and
can benefit by) immediate care or whether they
can wait for more urgent cases.
In some places now, "triage" means making a quick
check of each patient "whenever we good and well
feel like it."
