Chuck, I am finding that for the first time in years
I am able to dump glucose in my urine.
Now that is important..

Is that a desirable thing to do?

Failure to do this when the blood sugar is high enough is
very abnormal. It is one the safety items. I prefer it
working. Chuck it one of a number of problems some
us develop. The blood chemistry is also abnormal.
I live today.

your blood sugar shouldn't be getting high enough to spill over into
your urine. if you are passing your renal thresh hold you BG is going
over 150 mg/dl and not just for a brief spike due to a single meal

Hi Mack

It is not that simple. For a period i did not
show sugar in the urine at high blood sugars.

Some day I may decide to elaborate. I do
have a serious problem that is not closely
related to diabetes.

I have watched your pump experiences.
Good for you.

Have you had any hypos on the pump?

That was same concern when I decided not to pump.
Now I am so far down the road, I decided to
stay on my path. I am a lot further down
the road than you are.

I am postponing a cataract operation due
the side issues, Reason for some posting
errors..

Earlier in life, urine was a safety valve. Not that
way for a while. I am at the age where i had
to go on a tube for a couple of weeks.

I have to use Flomax and it drops
my already low blood pressure. it
is tough when I rise up.

I am on a " testerone" antagonist to reduce
the chances of prostrate cancer.

Old age is hell when it is in addition to
diabetes

I do have slower recall of names but
far ahead of some of my peers.

The group has served us both well.
Please exercise some payback
to others.

As US patients we needed to know that
insurance and entitlments are up for
grabs. Part of the US medical
profession has almost priced themselves
to destruct our system.

Enough for me but it might get tough for
the younger ones. Diabetics normally
have rising expenses with age.

It is one thing I do get upset at when some
shill defends a bloated system.

I am too wordy but have to say something NOW

I do think a lot more casual conversation
are more useful.and leads to less conflict.

You have been an asset here for a long time

Relax and enjoy life and the good people.
