So you might try calling around to pain clinics and seeing if they can
recommend someone.

Excellent advice, thank you! I would never have thought of that.

One thing would be to ask the acupuncturist if they can help and be very
alert to too-good-to-be true claims to be able to fix everything. The
good guys I saw were clear about what they could and couldn't fix. They
also did not suggest that I have more than a couple treatments to see if
the treatment would work. With the frozen shoulder the first treatment
did nothing, so he tried something else which worked dramatically.

Wow. That is impressive. A friend of mine has been dealing with one
for a few months now. I'll pass along this info.
