I know mixing is not "recomended", but it was not "recomended" for
UltraLente
either and I have been mixing it, with Doctors approval, for 20 years.

If mixed in a syringe with the fast analog insulins, Levemir slows the
action of the fast analog insulins.

Novo asserts somewhere, either in the P.I. or general literature, that
Levemir tends to form hexamers with the analog insulins.
It's the formation of hexamers which makes regular Human insulin so slow.
