We have had a number of people in this group in the past who were on oral
steriod or shots, not epidurals, who had become diabeticas a result. some
were able to get back to a non-diabetic state, but othes, who had been on
the drug for a longer eriod, remained diabetic.
With epidurals, ( I just had my first for sciatica) the higher bgs usually
last about 3 days and a type 2 may need insulin. I was fortunate that it
didn;t happen to me, but, so far, the epidural doesn't seem to have done
much anyway:-(
