I realized I hadn't put my own numbers in here...what's up with that?

Are you Type 1 or Type 2?

Type 1

What was your last A1c?

5.5

Are you more than 10 lbs. overweight for your height?

No.

What is your HDL and LDL?

LDL 75 HDL 80

Do you eat a low carb to moderate carb diet (100 or less per day)? If
so, are you on Lipitor or any other kind of cholesterol lowering
medication?

Do you eat a higher carb diet (over 100 per day)? If so, are you on
Lipitor or any kind of cholesterol lowering medication?

It varies, but most always over 150 per day. No cholesterol
medication.

What type(s) of diabetes medications do you use?

Humalog. Lantus.

If you are using insulin, do you pump or use MDI?

MDI (nothing against pump, but numbers are pretty good with MDI so I
have stuck with that)

What other (non diabetes) of medications are you on?

Altace

How often do you exercise per week?

Personal trainer 2-3 times a week. Some kind of exercise every other
day, rotating basis to work different parts of the body.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how do you rate your overall health?

8...maybe higher if I compared it to some of my non-diabetic friends.

Are you seeing a diabetes specialist (i.e. and endo)? If so, how
often?

I'm very happy with my Endo, who specializes in diabetes and see him
about 3 times a year. Also once a year to a foot doctor and twice a
year to a retinologist.

Is there anything else you'd like to add regarding diabetes and your
overall health?

Like most, I think I am in relatively better shape than when I didn't
have diabetes. Still get frustrated with the occasional weird days
where nothing seems to make sense.
