welp, today we thought to carb load the kid
up.. figure, someone "normal" isn't going to
be effected by it.. and wanted to make sure
those readings just weren't a fluke..
so mom tested herself to make sure meter was
okay.. and ran the control solution too.. all chk'd
out A-OK..
so.. she had 21.9gm for breakfast.. at 1hr she was
at 174 at 2hr she was at 141
didnt test for lunch..
dinner she had 66gm.. at 1hr she was at 212 at 2hr
she was at 188
UG.. me no thinks its a fluke.. so, she's going to keep
her hovering around 20gm a meal and see if she can
slow down the beta-cell distruction a wee bit.. the kids
not throwing ketones yet, but she's hungry and thirsty
most of the time now.. she's also starting to nap a bit
more.. like lay down for quick cat naps after she's eating.
figure its only a matter of time now.

Hello, Reisa
I think I missed the beginning of this some where. but I was gone for a
while, so that can happen.
I don't quite understand who is testing. I'm a bit thick these days. but you
know already that these are not normal numbers. I'm sure I saw the begining
of this thread I just don't have it right now. I know you are a thorough
person and will push for the dx on this. Sorry. Physical life is hard for us
sometimes.
But not impossible.
Good on you for being on top of this early.
regards,
rudy
