G'day G'day Pro-Humanist FREELOVER,

Sometimes the most significant thing people write is punctuation.
Despite the SHOUTING I happened to notice you were asking a question.

Will you take it any more?

At a wild guess it seems likely that you will and in a couple of days
from now, you'll be grateful that you spent this morning, evening or
whatever time of day it is venting on the internet.

Why on Earth would you be grateful?

Well you're not on the road in an unfit state to drive, you aren't in
charge of heavy machinery etc, etc. Not too many people think of how
they'll feel a few days from now when they in the heat of the moment
but they can and it helps them with wise decisions.

My guess is that some truly horrible things have been said to you over
the years ... all that stuff about guilt trips etc.

What I am wondering is this.

How do public attitudes towards T1 diabetics now, compare with those
of say, twenty, thirty, forty or even forty five years ago compare?

Are people today, better or worse?

We need people like you to tell us. I personally knew only one T1
diabetic back then. People seemed to treat him with respect but how
would I really know. Maybe he chose to put a brave face on it.

Best wishes,
