My body fat ratio has been better but it still in the teens. I eat
peanuts because I like them for some reason unknown to me - a whole lot.
I know I need to start to vary my diet. It's going to happen in the next
few months I'm sure.
I'm really very lucky Chris. This last year and all the things I gave up
has been simple for me with no cravings, no regrets, but just a slight
feeling of loss (not wild cravings like I tend to joke about now and
then). I miss potatoes, rice, an occasional drink, fresh donuts, hot
biscuts and a sweet everyday. But it's more like when you have a want you
know you'll never satisfy. Potatoes are in the kitchen now, there are
fries, hash browns, mashed and whole all waiting to be eaten and I love a
good plate of patatoes more than just about anything. But my desire for
them has turned into a desire like I have for a perfect ragtop 1968 BRG
XKE.
A want I'll never satisfy but a want that will never go away entirely and
just sits like an old memory in my mind.
I don't know if anyone can relate to this.
No one was more shocked than I was when I stopped every bad life choice
overnight, completely, and without looking back. It's as if I could give
up anything, cold turkey, easily every since last year. It's nutty and I
don't understand why or how. Sometimes I think it's a strong desire to
live.
