Since my mother has Alzheimer's Disease, and turmeric is so far the only
substance shown to cross the blood-brain barrier to reduce plaque, I make
sure to get a gram a day. I buy it in 42 gram tins, and I counted the
days when I used a half-teaspoon a day. I was quite surprised to find it
lasted exactly 42 days. :-)
