Some say it is possible to at least partially reverse diabetes. From
my reading and experience, I would say that the axiom, "Once a
diabetic, always a diabetic," is more likely closer to the truth.
Nevertheless, I think all Al meant to say is that he is no longer
insulin dependent.... which does sometimes become possible for people
who are T2. with major dietary and lifestyle changes, accompanied by
weight-loss.
