My fasting blood sugar levels.

9:30 am FBS = 95

started eating
1/2 cup oatmeal
1 table spoon raisins.
1 cup skim milk
8 almonds.

10:30 blood sugar level 130.

11:30 = 106

I find that for a while now my fasting blood sugar improves a great deal
according to how active I have been.
when I am more active it is easy for me to get FBS levels in the 90s, when
less active it is more around 110.
1 simple way to have had better numbers with this meal would have been to
eat half - get dressed and eat the other half.
or do a bit of exercise or a simple walk to the store.
the way many talk you would think that it is about the type of diet you are
on that will determine if your blood sugar levels are good or bad.
for myself even a higher calorie diet than I need shows good results when
combined with increased activity.
last night I dropped grilled some skinless chicken breast. while steaming
my veggies I cooked to breasts in the water below.
ever roast skinless chicken breast and see how much fat comes out? today
for lunch im going to have a breast chopped up
using canola oil sauté the chicken with onions, hot peppers and some
veggies I have left over from last night. I think the only choice I have
right now for whole grains are whole grain rye crackers.
