A couple in the UK who were found guilty of murdering their young child a few years ago by forcing him to eat several spoonfuls of salt as a punishment, which they have always denied AIUI, are having their case reviewed. Brings back memories of expert witnesses and the cot death "murders".
Google or search news.bbc.co.uk for Professor Roy Meadow for more info, non UK bods.
