Hard one to answer. Some people just can't be convinced of
anything. I had 23 years of reactive hypoglycemias - very
seriously til I found out how to manage it. The WW points
system is not great for diabetics or those with RH but if
the diet works for her and she loses weight that is half a
battle. The other is the RH doesn't necessarily go away when
goal weight is reached. For nearly 20 of those 23 years of
RH for me I was rake thin. Morning oatmeal caused the
biggest RH reaction for me, within 1/2 an hour I could
literally not walk at all. So if you can convince her to use
her WW points in a different way then you will have achieved
something big.
Every time there is a high carb load she will most likely
react with a low a bit down the track. Lowering each
meal/snack to a lower carb level can help overcome that fast
drop enormously. Same food but spread out. Good luck. Oh
and change the faster carbs to more complex ones. WW has all
the nice little cookies and desserts etc unfortunately.
