Fell off the wagon today

But I'm struggling to get back on tonight.
Business meeting at lunch. Vietnamese place. Didn't have my Palm Pilot w/ me
so "guessed".
Stayed out of the fried eggrolls and Cafe sua da. Avoided the fried rice and
vermicelli. (Bun Cha Gao)
Settled on a bowl of beef noodle soup (Pho Tai). It's just soup for cryin'
out loud. (73g)
Dinner was 1/2 of a baked sweet potato (6 oz) w/ butter, S&P (37g) and 3 oz
of Lemon Garlic Chicken. (3g)
So far so good. BUT... there's this low-fat cranberry cheesecake recipe I've
been wanting to try. It is, indeed low fat, and I used Splenda for the
sugar. There was, however, this matter of 14 oz of (low fat) sweetened
condensed milk. OOPS! That stuff is 50% sugar. A 2 oz (small) slice of that
wonderful treat (43g of ultra-fast mega carbs). I won't bother to post that
recipe here even though it was damn good.
2hrs PP meter says, "You screwed up!" (213). So it was 45 mins on the
treadmill (2.5 mi) and nothing but water tonight.
It's now 4.5 hrs PP and I'm back in the good graces of my meter (92).
The rest of the cheesecake goes where a lot of my culinary experiments go.
To the office.
Just like lab rats, they'll eat anything. =;)
