Urea and toenail fungus

Recently, the topic of toenail fungus was being discussed and Old Al
mentioned that he had used urea gel. I found this for sale online but lo
and behold when I checked both of the products I was already using, I
discovered that they too contained urea! But it didn't list the amounts.
Perhaps this is why they worked so well for me. I still have one nail that
is not totally cleared up but is better.
I bought some stronger urea (in the form of a moisturizer) online and will
use that in conjunction with what I have already been doing. I stepped up
the use of the Dr. Scholls stuff. That is applied in the bath and you use a
little brush to scrub the nail. The one nail that still has a problem was
rather painful to scrub, but I've found that each time I do it, the pain
lessens. So I think it is working. I think it's just going to take some
extra time because this particular nail is extra thick. And it's hard to
clip. I was able to cut the other nails as short as possible and that
seemed to help speed up the treatment.
I also checked online and various sources indicated that urea is an
excellent moisturizer as well as being an antifungal.
