Hi Karen,

We have a lot of similar health issues going on. I am on thyroid meds,
blood pressure, Actos, and I also take amitriptylene at bedtime for the
fibromyalgia. I found that the foot problems were directly related to
taking lipitor. It started when I went on it the first time, stopped when
I went off, and started again when I went back on it. I am absolutely
convinced that the lipitor caused just enough muscle weakness to give me the
plantar fasciitis. I have flatly refused to take any more statin drugs.
My doctor hassles the heck out of me over it, but I just can't handle that
stuff. I used to enjoy walking and hiking, but somehow just stopped after
starting on the statins and feeling so lousy because of them.

About the Chi Gong; it was interesting and sort of fun, but I hated paying
so much for a class in which so little was occurring :-) Somehow I felt
that I could just move around a little bit like that at home for free.
