Hi James,
I just posted here a few days ago about same problem with my Lifescan meter
("Read here a lot, but don't post much" ) . I was in ER 3 times before I
quality-checked my meter and found that my reading was 40 over the hospital
meter. Mine read 134 and the hospital's read 94 (that was after I drank a
can of grape juice) I also thought I had a box of bad strips but not sure.
Mack suggested I should also check my batteries which I don't usually do,
but will.
The funny thing is, my Dr. gave me a new Precision Xtra meter and Lifescan
replaced my One Touch and the one of the One Touch readings was still 30
higher than the Precision. I am comparing every Bg I take for a while.
Hope your readings are back to normal,
Good Luck,
Maggie
