Kurt, I have tried, as have others. Here's just one example.
Do you remember when Tom hurt his back? He had lots of
messages of support. The way he answered me was:

Smiley faces don't balance "why dont you just cut the shit
Alan" when a genuine expression of care and concern has been
made.

Now go and read through the thread "Lower than a Snake's
belly" http://tinyurl.com/cvwfw, which was the day I finally
decided this guy was not civilised enough to justify further
effort. Since then he has also managed to disparage many
other posters here. The one that really surprised me was
when he tried to insult Quentin - who, of course, is quite
capable of looking after himself. This one started when he
was sneering at another poster's weight:

I respect your views Kurt, and the way you put them even if
we agree to disagree on some things. If Tom dropped the
personal attacks, and constant sniping at the advice others
give here, he may find less virulent opposition.

In the meantime, I now consider him a dangerous twit and
will treat him accordingly; I try to ignore him when
possible and give counter advice when appropriate.

Cheers Alan, T2 d&e, Australia.
