thank you for taking the time to reply to this post Kurt. It meant a lot to
me.

yea but its true - also this post really has nothing to do at all with them
or their insults. my skin as become 1 big callus.
however i am concerned with what you, Sally and yes even newbies think of
my posts. i would trust your judgment if you think I am wrong.
because i began to really think. how the hell can i be right when no one
else sees
these things. I mean even with Mexican i was the only 1 that tried to make
him/her feel welcome.
not only Mexican but others also over what is now almost 3 years.
what that last rash of trolls did do was make me wonder - why is it in 3
years
there is no one to say even once and a while that Tom is right lol about
anything.
those that troll my posts ( no need to mention names they are easy to see )
will never stop
so it no longer suprises me or shocks me.

To say there is a difference of opinions in this newsgroup is

this is something that really bothers me - i have seen times when you, Sally
and
yes even I have been able after a long battle to make a point that no double
talking
can undue. and yet the very next week it starts all over again.
i feel they feel so stronly about low carb that they will push it at any
cost.
chase out newbies that dont agree, lie, double talk and yes even troll.

lol I have noticed :). i do believe i helped you a bit in that area.
remember my post to you when i said try to be a bit political in your posts?
or something like that. i do remember i didnt want you to leave like so
many others have.

Well Kurt the best way i could put it would be to say.
take your posts - remove the big words - replace them with a few smaller
mispelled words.
remove all commas and caps, close your eyes and put the periods where ever
you want,
ad a bit of valgarity and you have me :) on top of that add posting some of
the information from the ADA web site.
I would basically post the information i was reading and thought hey this is
a diabetes group why not.
if you dont believe it - say your piece and move on. I also had the
impression that if people didnt like you
they would just kill file you - nope i was wrong - they will troll you.
i couldnt understand why they couldnt understand that i wasnt going to give
up my doctors advice
for strangers in a newsgroup. yes even if they are diabetic lol it still
sounds silly.
tell me my doctor is wrong and the ADA and then tell me you have diabetes
for a few months
and - well i think you understand. i started posting on my first day dx'd
very depressed,
very confused and thought because of my life style like my friend Gene - i
was going to die.
i didnt know if i had the will power to stop my very unhealthy life style.

as far as the people that troll me i have no respect for. but i also
wouldnt have
respect for people that troll you. and that is because you do not deserve
it.
i see A.Ss post to you bringing up a post with Arnie lol - it might be like
2 years old
because i have not seen Arnie post using that name in that long. i just
think he is looking
to distrack you or punish you for talking to me. at the end he says " i
agree with Arnie"
to me the best reply for that is - "that's nice."

They accuse you of being a troll and

yea but they started lol ( that was said in a childs voice but i guess you
couldnt here it ) :)
my problem here is that. some of my oppinions I can see them taking as
insults
if they feel they are wrong. but i sware on my life i will never accuse
anyone of lieing
unless i feel they did. i do feel very strongly that some spammers have
made this a home
as well as other diabetic and nutritional groups all over the internet, the
others are blind followers
and then you have those that just like to troll.

as you can see i have no problems with that but i have seen a few so called
newbies
that looked as if they had the same agenda since day 1 and i have to ask
myself why.

i wont be so harsh on them as to call them fools because i can picture and
have
experienced their confusion first hand. while i was not going to give up my
doctors advice
for strangers in a news group - i did come here to see what other diabetics
had to say
and to help those comming in after me to feel a bit better.
i was very confused in the begining - how can all these people here be all
saying the same thing
and they be wrong? ( remember i was the only 1 here at that time believing
in the ADA and the rest of the diabetic organizations )
and almost 3 years later - i am lucky to have you and Sally to give me this
much needed reality check.
there were others but they just left - as would I but i never came here for
myself.

3 years later I eat more almonds :) and i had fish about 5 times this week.
but not on my webber :(. the fish was really my wifes idea.

in almost 3 years i have learned a lot about their physical and mental
condtions.
and cant help but wonder why they would think for a second that their
example
of what they can or can not eat would have anything at all to do with me.
hell even if they were otherwise healthy.
i seen someone the other day that is on a 800 calorie diet talking to
someone
about weight lifting to gain muscle. i kind of get the idea that newbies
think they
are talking to people that look like professional trainers.
in my work out threads i have added very often that I am still very much out
of shape.

i am more concerened with what they dont tell. physical condition
and i do feel they will push their agenda at all costs. chase a newbie out,
troll and yes lie.
because if you are willing to chase a newbie out - a lie just seems like
nothing.

i am only really concerned with how you and Sally feel about my posts.
if i am right about what i see as lies or being misleading and because of
pasts trolls
its really hard for me to sugar coat my posts.
yes have used that - at least they try to distance them selves from Tom
and to be honest i kind of believed them and like i said i am concerned with
how you and Sally take my posts. i have never seen either of you say
something
that i took as a lie or to be misleading.. and yes i would see them even
though
as far as diet goes we have much in common.

lol gee thanks :). but seriously thank you for taking the time to reply
to this not very important to you post. i really needed the reality check.
we probably have very little in common except for the need to share our
oppinion
on how important it is for newbies to get professional help.
if you or Sally ever see me say something out of line - feel free to speak
up
here or email. if i am wrong i have nothing to hide.

at this point - it was worth more than you know. thank you.

wieght
training thread :).
