i dont like that diet either - but i showed how i would change it to make it
more like mine.
i wont do the 3 big meals a day thing never - it is not recommened for non
diabetics and I sure
as poop wont do it as a diabetic.
3 meals 2 snacks of 45 carbs works great for me.

cool - i just felt at this point it wasnt doing you anygood and wanted to
explain.
i enjoy talking to you as well but what does bother me is when i see you
reading
information that just isnt true - take alans reply about my post - show it
to any dietitian
low carb or low fat - his reply is just very misleading <-- you dont have to
answer that one
i dont want to put you in any bad light here - but I am right.

i had to rush one of my dogs to the hospital yesterday and was very tired
when i wrote last night.
i would break those 3 meals into 5 and not pay too much attention to cutting
the protien and fats for a while.
if it helped me control the diet better.

I think even the low carbers here would agree that perhaps almonds are much
better.
but hey if i want peanuts I will eat them - just dont take advice from Sally
on what nuts to eat
she might talk you into buying one of her squirles.

i understand totally - but not everyone has the will power to jump in head
first like i did
and like you did. most t2's like myself have a love a fair with food and
its - well everyone needs
different treatment. if i was your dietitian - i would have taken that hand
out and made the changes with you
about the better choices and hell no way 60carbs per meal.

usully servings on the exhange diet are 15 carbs per serving.
you had 2 servings of startches - that is what appeard to confuse Allen
and 2 servings of veggies- yes there are more complex ways to explain it but
most people would understand what they said.

on my diet its about 45 net carbs from veggies such as carrots and brocolli.
