Hey Doug I do the same with the thermostat. We've been spitting snow the last couple days here in Oregon. It sure looks pretty, but it doesn't stick around long enough where I'm located, just makes things messy. I keep mine on 61 and wear a turtle neck with a flannel shirt and sweat pants inside the house. Keeps me from paying high energy bills and I change into jeans if I go anywhere so I can look presentable. I do turn up the heat if the grand kids come over. They aren't as tough as I am in keeping warm. They like to peel their clothes off and not keep bundled up while in the house. But we gotta do what we gotta do to keep the expenses down. Glad someone else does like I do......I'm the only old mizer there is!
Chilly on the outside,
Sue

Hello Everyone,
I hope the Northerners are warm. By me the high today hit 8 degrees F. Last
3 night below Zero. I leave mu thermostat at 62 degrees, which is not bad.
When you do not move around too much you do feel a bit cold. I wear a extra
sweat shirt with a hood . I can turn the heat up, but the oil is high and I
try to save Denise ( Landlord) some $$.
Hope everyone is well as can be.
Stay toastie
Doug
