That sounds really good.....she must be single too then huh? Maybe one of you will be moving one of these days. You just never know what life may bring to you. If it's meant to be it will be. Good Luck to you!

I have a feeling that she and I will see each other again. This time under
better circumstances. Just wish she wasn't in El Paso. That is not my
favorite city. When I arrived there her niece met me at the car with a big
hug. Had to tell her to ease up on the back. She still calls me her
favorite Uncle. I smiled and told I her I must be the only on then.

Glad you had a safe trip......you're a brave person to drive straight
through like that, but I suppose you have to go while the going is good.
Damn those exes who still look the same! I can say mine doesn't. He's
now about 80lbs over weight and has lost most of his hair and what he does
have left is gray. His real loss though is his kids.......as adults they
can now see through him too! That's priceless! Glad there are some exes
that are worth continuing friendships with!!! I have a couple ex
boyfriends that, that's the case with. Just not the ex husband! :)

I returned home Staurday night after driving straight through, around 800
miles. Except for the loss of Tom the trip went exceedingly well. I was a
bit disappointed to see my ex had not aged at all. I really enjoyed being
around her. Her niece told me I was still her favorite uncle. I suspect
I'm the only uncle she has left but thought I'd enjoy her thoughts anyway.

It's not like I have been around that much lately but I'll be out of the
net even longer now. I just got out of the hospital on Friday just to
find out an old and dear friend passed away Friday morning. Tomorrow I
get to drive from far East Texas to far West Texas. Most likely will
take 2 says. He will be given a military funeral on Ft BLiss on Thursday
so I should have plenty of time. Of all people I'll be staying with my
ex-wife from many years ago. And who says it doesn't pay to not burn
bridges!
Happy a wonderful New Year.
