Neurotypicals refer to the 'normal folks' that aren't wired differently.
If you are an Autie or an AC (Autism Cousin), you are not Neuroptypical.
AC's are ones who have ADHD, and ADD.

Just curious, where do dyslexics fall?

They are Neurotypicals, unless they happen to be Auties or AC's. Same with
dyscalculia, which I have. Dyscalculia is the Math/numbers version of
dyslexia. Dyslexia and dyscalculia are quite common among Auties and AC's,
but certainly shows up in the Neurotypical population aas well. They are not
only co-morbid among Auties and AC's, but they show up in families where
there are Auties and AC's.

I have Aspergers and dyscalculia, have at least 2 siblings who fall
somewhere on the Autism Spectrum, but don't have full-blow Autism, and 1
brother has dyslexia. The brother with dyslexia probably had undiagnosed ADD
as a child, and has a child with ADHD who possibly is on the Autism
Spectrum.

The one sibling who falls on the Spectrum has a daughter who possibly has
Asperger's, but her parents never had her tested. It is very common for a
person with dyslexia and/or dyscalculia to have a family member or relative
with Autism and/or ADHD/ADD.

These things seem to run in families, which leads to a possible genetic
link.
