Not your fault. Infected websites use a Java script that causes a
download no matter what you click, even if you click outside the
browser. Then Windows dutifully installs it.
Others have offered good removal advice. I would add some prevention
advice: If you run Windows, I recommend having an administrative account
and user accounts. It's a pain in the rear sometimes but it's worth
it--set it up so that NOTHING can be installed without being logged in
as admin.
Second: Don't use MS Outlook. Use Thunderbird instead. Outlook is too
closely tied to the operating system. Also, use Firefox instead of
Internet Exploiter.
Good luck!

Thanks Blues - I am checking out firefox, have been using Forte Agent
for the last 4 weeks ( I like it - you make a good point about Outlook
Express).
I have an admin account set up as well as my user name account but I
have them both set up with password and admin rights - should I go
into user accounts and make some changes in either admin or user to
tweak these further, in other words, may I have missed something
there?
Thanks in advance!!!
