Thanks OG,
I think I did take my cell up with me.
I won't go up there for more than 5 minutes when it is that hot. I was once
crawling across the cathedral ceiling and passed out from the heat.
Won't make that mistake again,
Due to the Evap Cooler and the Upducts I put in the house, the attic rarely
goes over 100degrees unless I am using the A/C.
I went over and bought the lumber to rebuild the fence. When I first built
it, I used a hammer. My neighbor came over and put the slats on as my hands
had gone dead and I could not use them.
I now own a few nail guns and compressor. So other than digging out the
old concrete footing, it should not be that taxing to rebuild it this time.
I also will wait until the girls get off work this weekend and I will guilt
them into helping.
I have to go over and purchase a temporary plastic barrier to use
temporarily

Dear Cane,
It's easy to forget that while you're looking for safe places to put your
feet, those roofing nails have to come out someplace. People used to think
I was nuts wearing a hardhat and long sleeves in to a 130 degree attic.
They are not usually safe places to go. Btw, if you end up covered with a
bunch of fiberglass that wont brush off, a pair of pantyhose or stockings
rubbed over the area will help remove it.
Take your cell phone up with you too. Never been stuck bad, but I left a
lot of shirt fabric and not a little bit of skin up there in the process.
Best of luck and be careful --og

Well, Its 12:19 so no one needs to call for help
I keep forgetting why just about every company I worked for, including
the one I owned bought my a bump cap.
Its a Low Fat hard hat, the kind the butchers wear.
I now get my hair cut like Marine fashion, High and tight. So there is
not much hair up there to
cushion the hits.
I had been looking in the mirror trying to decide if I need to go get
stitches. I must have smacked my
head a dozen times but only when I hit a piece of metal did it start
bleeding.
Well I am down and sorry I needed to do rewiring.
Time for some well deserved BTs. In bad times I can take 1.5X dose, per
doctor. I think this is that time

I guess I am rested/healed well enough from the work last week, so I am
going to head up into the attic.
I am improving my audio/video thru the house and need to install a cable
to hook my DVR in the living room to the computers in the office.
This should not be a major to-do, as I have everything set up before I
go up there and really only need to drill a few holes in the headers.
I will head up there as soon as the sun is up so I can see half-way
decently.
So If you do not hear from me by, let's say, Noon MST, SEND HELP.
It really should not be a problem as the temp up there is in the 50s.
When I decided to do this it was over 120 degrees up there and I waited
until the temps are down.
Before I became this disabled, I would have gone up in the dead of
summer and lost 10 lbs of sweat in the process.
I wonder if becoming disabled made me smarter?
Cane
