OK. Sorry, my mistake. I didn't mean to be or sound attacking.

No, no offense taken - I'm just short-handing today because of the pain.

Wonder
why the site was highlighted. Maybe because of Major's refusal to
address why it's discontinued together with it not being FDA approved?

It was the result of a google search, so maybe it was highlighting the words
I was searching for.

Ever have the experience of never having heard of something then you
hear it like 5 times in the next week? That's what just happened with
me and this Armour. My Mom takes it - along with a boatload of other
stuff. Altho I'm sure, as the shortage indicates, lots of people are
familiar with it, other than my Mom I and by chance discussing with my
SIL with regard to her brother Monday and here you guys are talking
about it!

Otherwise Amour is a canned ham to me! :)

Happy

I've been, unfortunately been hearing about it for about 3 months since I
used to take it. I'm hoping the shortage eases up soon, this synthetic
stuff makes me crazy.

Hugs,

And just to be clear, I didn't do the highlighting, it was on the site
itself.

Umm, - no, that's Thyroid (desiccated) by Major that you highlighted
that is discontinued.

Directly below is Armour from Forest Pharmaceuticals. Forest states
its shortage is because of shortage of raw material. It is on
backorder and Forest cannot estimate on a release date. It has *not*
been discontinued as of Nov 20, 2009.

Whoever told you that needs to advise Armour of it.

I can't remember which, but it was either my pharmacist or my PCP (I

it was he) told me that the company is no longer making the Armor
