Usually I post about lousy days or stuff that's negative it seems so
thought I'd tell ya I actually had a decent birthday w/my pain level
dropping a bit, just when the bi-lateral RSD had spread & got so much
worse I honestly didn't think I could take another day of it!!  YaY,
it was like the nicest birthday present I could get!  I also usually
just can't wait for birthdays to be over & done with but this was a
pretty day, our black lab retriever was extra-smiley, our fav. chef
was working so made our lunch extra-special, it was just plain half-
way decent!  So, thought I'd share that w/you all.  Hope it's
catching!

Happy belated Birthday!

I've never been a big fan of my b-days ever since I turned 30 for some
reason. However, ever since I began living this life of a CPer 12+
years ago, I tried to ignore each b-day since, but to no avail since
my wife is a huge traditionalist when it comes to b-days and every day
that has a "name" to it (e.g. Grandparents day, Fathers Day, Mothers
Day, Easter, Halloween and the like!)

I do know what you mean though, my last birthday was similar in that
it didn't seem so dark as the other 11 so it was a nice gift from God
(or whomever you believe in, if any).

I turned 54 last July! I can't believe I'm living this long. I really
didn't plan OR even THINK I'd make it this far. Now watch, I'll be one
of these people that refuses to die and live to be 100 or longer!
Seems like if "Murphy’s Law" can happen, it usually does with me. LOL!
All I ask is that if I do live that long or near that, that I somehow
manage to get fixed enough so the rest of my days aren't spent like
the past dozen. I don't know if I could let nature take its course if
I don't. If you all know what I mean. (YIKES!)

On that cheery note...Happy Birthday Again! (How old are you now?)
