She certainly did, but in this case the vinegar was justified because
the original editorial cited "facts" that were supplied to the newspaper
by the DEA and local law enforcement. The newspaper constantly prints
information they receive in press releases without any consideration
given to checking the veracity of the statements made.

Whatever the reason they picked my letter, they had many others to
choose from, so I must have done something right.
