Top, how nice to hear about your Grandmother...my daughter just said to
me how my garden is so beautiful (I do mostly flowers) and how she
wished she could "get out there" and do the same. Now that was really
positive reinforcement for me as was hearing from you. Thank you! I
was talking to my daughter on the phone she calls a few times a week
unfortunately lives 3 hours away. I spent a lot of time with her two
sons, my Grandsons, and still write and keep in touch with them. I
adored them as i know your Grandmother loved you.
I remember the three of us picking blueberries for breakfast (along a
trail by my house.) I went up into a mountain cabin for about 5 years
after my divorce, and had the time of my life! At first lived in a tent
then the cabin. It looked over a
man made lake and I could hike up to the fire trail on the top--once ran
into a Bob cat. (we scared each other!) I did a lot of reading,
hiking, & rearranging my thinking.
I was 65 years when I moved which was only because I could no longer
carry all the water etc in the winter (cause) when I was snowed in I
couldn't get my car up there. Oh the Pain the Pain!! Gotta get off
for now! Rest well all you wonderful people and spend some pain free
moments!
