Re: To the group

Dear Teresas,

I think I responded to one of your first postings, but my mind is not what
it normally is at this time of year (Bah, humbug!), so in case I did miss
you, a long overdue welcome and apology for missing any of your posts. It
never hurts to make sure you see your posts show up in the group (I've got
one right now sitting in my outbox, for absolutely no reason at all, since I
have this Microslop slothware setup to send immediately.)
If you keep posting and it looks as if you aren't getting any responses,
please don't hesitate to do exactly what you have done- give a general shout
out, asking if anyone is home. Sometimes (and particularly this time of
year) it seems like we often get wrapped up in our own little real life
horror shows and other things just get by us (if someone asks me one more
time how I am feeling, I'm going to pull a Mike Tyson, and bite their ear
off. Then I can ask them, "how's the ear?" 4000 times).
So welcome, you are part of the group, just by being here. It's your group.
The are no rules, being unmoderated, nobody that runs anything. The closest
we get to rules are just a general majority disgust with spammers and people
who come in just to start trouble. Those are the ones you usually see
"talking" to themselves in a corner. You won't have any problem picking out
the good from the bad, it usually only takes an exchange or two and you get
what people are all about in here. Some may direct you to some suggested
reading on who the problem children are in here, but it's up to you as to
whether to read it or believe it, as actions go much further than words, so
I'll let others direct you to opinions on other people in here. Treat people
as you'd be treated yourself and the feedback should be all you need to make
up your own mind.
So make yourself at home, since that's probably where you are anyhow, get
comfy, pull up to the keyboard and type away. I'll try and keep an eye out
for your next posting.

Have a pain free weekend--og

My name is Teresa and I have made several posts but it just I seems
like I am invisible. I think only one person has ever responded to me.
I don't know if I have done something wrong, offended someone or what.

Would someone mind helping me out and showing me the ropes maybe. I
would love to be a part of the group.
Thanks, Teresa
