Ok, had my psych appt today for my SCS (maybe). Everything went fine.
Kinda a waste of time actually if you ask me. But I guess a necessary
thing. I wonder how they think this is needed if you don't need it for say
having a Pacemaker implant. Which hubby has had done 13 seperate times.
Yes, I said thirteen. He is so young, he keeps either wearing out the
batteries, or the wires come loose, or the programming gets lost. So they
have to keep going in and making adjustments or like this last one replacing
the whole thing. They have worn it out so much that now they had to go to
the other side of his chest. Geez...poor man.
He's a saint too. Always concerned about me before anything. Actually
sometimes to his detriment. His knee is really giving him problems but he
refuses to get it taken care of. I guess I am gonna have to force
him..lol.
So anyway next I guess I get the test one done. Gonna be hard to tell them
exactly where the pain is because it can differ from day to day. That's one
of the things I am concerned about is they get the permanent one in and the
pain is in a different spot. Say lower back and the next day it's mid back.
That would suck. I wonder if they can fix it where it will hit different
spots? Anyone know?
Thanks for being there guys. I hope I can return the favor. I know I don't
post much here, but trust me I am following everyone and I do pray for you
all every night..and for those that are having a tougher time than usual I
pray twice :) Just holler if I can ever do anything at all for anyone here
