I did take MS-Contin for a very brief time a few years ago. It was
only the 60mg dose and was pretty much a waste of a good copay. I
assumed it was too low a dose.

I wasn't on it long enough to try the higher dosages because I lost my
insurance and switched to methadone because I needed something
stronger and it's dirt cheap.

I hope to stick with oxy, but maybe a Fentanyl patch would be a better
alternate. I wonder about sticking problems though. I am rather fond
of my daily shower, as are those who get within smelling distance of
me :), and I wonder if they wash off.

Next time you get a Script for the Oxycontin ask the pharmacy exactly
which version they are going to fill it with. If they say Teva
inquire if they can order you the Watson Generic version as it is in
the supply-chain, but the worthless Teva version has more profit in
its resale.

As to the Fentanyl patches; there are products that help keep them on
through daily activities (usch as showers). However, what I don't
understand is that I am on two other patch medications that I have no
problem with at all remaining in place regardless of how wet they get.
Matter of fact one of them is damn near like a second layer of skin.
