In other words, if Doc 1 wants to talk to Doc 2 about you, even if you
ask him not to, he can do it anyhow. Your only recourse is to find
another doc who hopefully doesn't know those two. You'll find the
community of docs, even in a big city, is smaller than you think.
Along the lines of the "old boys' club," if you will...

That's exactly a problem I've been dealing w/, ((Trisha))! &
Yes...even going 2hrs away isn't going to matter unless the dr accepts
My copies of My med. reports...& I'll sign if they want more but it
has the most important stuff & one nicely worded letter from my
psychologist saying he talked w/these drs & they chose not to agree w/
him & he felt they were very wrong. He's known me a lonnng time so
that helps. It's taken what seems like forever to just figure out the
problem was getting a run of bad comments from bad docs I got stuck w/
& being honest to allow all my records. I've learned my lesson. If
things don't work out w/this doc (tho I just Feel they will, having
talked w/them & they understand the situation up here), I'll be no
worse off than I am now dealing w/all the stuff wrong +neuropathy w/o
anything for pain. sigh. Guess why I have a new nickname of
"relentless"?!!
